Description

The LTI-210 Asphalt Binder PG Grading Tester uses a patented air jet sample deformation device and laser deformation sensor to measure the single and multiple stress creep/recovery characteristics of asphalt binder. The 210 model has two uses: first, when compared with reference samples, the creep recovery index can be used to identify whether the binder and components are qualified; second, the test data can be analyzed by the instrument software to determine the performance grade of the binder sample. This instrument is robust and durable, suitable for use in the laboratory, asphalt plant, or construction site, and can provide test results in as little as 2 minutes.
